Broken leg

Nick Weir, the new presenter of Carlton TV show Catchphrase broke his leg whilst filming his first show.

Robert Rathbone started his training on the full-time NCTJ Press Photography course in Sheffield in 1982-3. This was completed by working for Cumbrian Newspapers until 1985. Robert then joined EMPICS in Nottingham and became their chief photographer before moving to News Team, Birmingham in 1988. From late 1988 to the present Robert has worked for himself from a Nottingham base, with assignments all over the world including Australia, New Zealand, USSR, USA and most of Europe. Robert has won several awards including Sports Photographer of the Year at The British Press Awards.
