Paul Glendell gained a post graduate diploma in photojournalism from Cardiff University in 1996. Whilst on the course a photo of an oiled bird taken at the Sea Empress oil spill in west Wales was published as a double page spread in Life magazine in the USA. Entered into the 54th Pictures of the Year by Life magazine it gained an award of excellence. Paul’s solo exhibitions include Wilderness & Legacy – Slovakia, after the revolution; toured five venues in Slovakia 1992-3; Szekelyland – Romania’s Hungarian minority: numerous venues in Slovakia and Hungary 2002-5 and Human/Nature – How people use and abuse the natural world; Budapest, Hungary, February 2006.
