• Classroom, Nahr El Bared Refugee Camp by Ron Coello

In June 2008, I visited the Nahr El Bared Palestinian refugee camp in Northern Lebanon, to document the work of a number of charities following the siege of the camp in 2007. During the siege 80% of homes in the camp were destroyed, leaving 5,000 families displaced. Entry to the destroyed camp is forbidden and all photography prohibited. I shall be returning to the camp in June 2009.
