• Landscapes in Transition no:5 by Derek Mossop

This image is from a series of images called ‘Landscapes in Transition’ which are due to be published in the May 2009 edition Portfolio Magazine. The images represent a scarred terrain strewn with the detritus of domestic and industrial disorder, a legacy of the ebb and flow of human intervention in the landscape.

Derek Mossop is a London based photographer who works mostly in the UK and the USA. He studied photography at Kingston College of Art & Design, London College of Fashion, London College of Printing and London College of Communication. His clients and publications have included among others: The Royal Academy of Arts, Vogue, Tatler, Harpers & Queen, The Guardian, and The Independent.
